About Us
Made By Riders, For Riders
I created Stablemate Essentials to give riders and their horses lasting relief from the equestrian world’s most frustrating pests, flies. Knowing from firsthand experience how agonizing these buzzing pests can be for our animals, I started crafting my own homemade fly repellent using non-photosensitive essential oils. After extensive field testing, I’ve formulated 3 blends for safe and effective relief! Now, I’m ready to share my innovative formula with the riding world, from one horse lover to another.

(CAUTION)
Always Mix & Assess Prior to Application
Mix as directed, best with apple cider vinegar. More dilution may be needed if the blend is too strong. Be cautious not to get it in your horse's eyes, ears, or nose. After mixing, conduct a patch test on a part of the horse that's easy to clean. Should there be any indication of skin reaction, wash the area completely and cease further use. Remember to cleanse your hands post-application. In the event of accidental eye exposure, rinse abundantly with water. If discomfort persists, seek medical attention without delay. Store where children cannot access. It is important to note that by themselves, some essential oils can be very potent and cause irritation and allergic reactions. When used as directed, they can be beneficial for animals and humans alike.
